● WHY IT MATTERS

Is he just wearing glasses, or is he filming?

Camera glasses look just like ordinary ones, and the little recording light is easy to miss. Your members can't tell, so they stop feeling at ease. A clear sticker at the door takes that doubt away for everyone.

Why stickers and a policy?

The sticker tells guests the rule at the door. The Policy Kit makes it a house rule your staff can actually enforce. It comes free with the Venue Pack.

Can I ban camera glasses?

On your own premises you set the house rules. The Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) actually advises organisations to ban camera glasses in them.

Where can the stickers go?

They are glossy vinyl stickers with a permanent adhesive, made for smooth surfaces: doors, glass, mirrors and lockers.

What if someone needs the glasses?

The Policy Kit includes an exemption procedure for assistive use, so you never turn away someone who relies on the glasses.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is a practical toolkit. If you are unsure about your situation, check with a lawyer or your trade association.
